Was das konkret bedeutet

iSFP Bonus from July 21, 2026: Why It Only Pays Off from €30,000 Onwards
The individual renovation roadmap (iSFP) unlocks additional funding — but since the reform of July 21, 2026, no longer in every case. Anyone unfamiliar with the new threshold risks counting on a bonus that simply does not exist.
What Has Changed
Previously, the rule was straightforward: if an iSFP was in place and the measure was included in it, there was an additional five percentage points on top. Since July 21, 2026, the bonus has been tied to a minimum investment volume — and it only applies to the portion of costs exceeding the standard maximum limit.
The minimum investment volume is €30,000 gross per measure, regardless of the number of residential units. The standard maximum limit, above which the bonus applies, is €30,000 for the first residential unit, €15,000 each for the second through sixth, and €8,000 each from the seventh unit onwards.
What This Means in Practice
A single-family home, building envelope work costing €60,000:
- On the first €30,000, the base funding rate of 15 percent applies
- On the second €30,000, the 5 percentage points are added, giving 20 percent
This results in €4,500 plus €6,000, totalling €10,500. Under the old rule, it would have been 20 percent on the full amount — €12,000.
And for a smaller measure? Anyone spending €20,000 on insulation stays below the threshold. For that measure, the iSFP brings not a single euro extra.
Does That Mean the iSFP Is No Longer Worth It?
No — but the calculation looks different than before.
The iSFP remains worthwhile if you are planning larger measures or spreading several steps over a number of years. The roadmap applies to all measures it contains, not just the first. Anyone tackling the building envelope in three stages can use the bonus multiple times — provided each individual stage reaches the threshold.
The iSFP is also worthwhile independently of the bonus, because it clarifies the order of works. Anyone who insulates the façade before replacing the heating system can size the new system smaller — which often saves more than the bonus itself yields.
It is not worthwhile if you are exclusively planning a single small measure that will definitely remain below the threshold.
Excluded from the Bonus
The iSFP bonus is not granted for heat generators, emission reduction measures, or specialist planning and construction supervision. The heating system replacement is handled through its own separate process in any case.
Calculate Before You Decide
Whether the roadmap pays off for your project depends on the planned investment amount and on whether you intend to renovate in stages. We carry out this calculation with you in advance — before you commission the iSFP, not afterwards.
We assess your project and prepare the application together with you; Energieberatung Klein GmbH submits the BAFA (Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control) application as your authorised representative and accompanies you through to the funding decision.
