Fenster & Außentüren fördern – So geht es richtig

Technische Anforderungen
- Fenster: Wärmedurchgangskoeffizient Uw ≤ 0,95 W/(m²K)
- Außentüren: U ≤ 1,3 W/(m²K)
- Maßgeblich ist die jeweils aktuelle Fassung der Technischen Mindestanforderungen (TMA) der BEG EM
Förderhöhe
- Grundförderung: 15 %
- Mit gefördertem iSFP: Kostenrahmen 30.000 € → 60.000 € (1. WE); zusätzlich 5 Prozentpunkte, aber nur auf den Anteil oberhalb 30.000 €
- Maximaler Zuschuss 1. WE: 4.500 € ohne iSFP, 10.500 € mit iSFP
Wichtig: Der ab Q1/2027 geltende WPB-Bonus (+5 Prozentpunkte für Worst Performing Buildings) gilt ausschließlich für Dämmmaßnahmen — Fenster, Außentüren und sommerlicher Wärmeschutz sind davon ausgenommen.
Förderfähige Kosten
Material- und Einbaukosten einschließlich Umsatzsteuer, zusätzlich notwendige Nebenarbeiten (z. B. Laibungsdämmung, Rollladenkästen, Beiputzarbeiten).
Antragsweg
Antrag beim BAFA vor Vorhabenbeginn stellen. Bei Antragstellung muss bereits ein Vertrag mit der Fachfirma vorliegen, der unter aufschiebender oder auflösender Bedingung der Förderzusage steht und das voraussichtliche Umsetzungsdatum nennt. Ein Vorhabenbeginn vor Antragstellung schließt die Förderung aus.
Alternative
Bei selbstgenutztem Wohneigentum ist § 35c EStG zu prüfen: 20 % der Kosten über drei Jahre, maximal 40.000 € je Objekt — nicht mit dem Zuschuss für dieselbe Maßnahme kombinierbar.

Funding for Windows & External Doors – How to Do It Right

Technical Requirements
- Windows: thermal transmittance Uw ≤ 0.95 W/(m²K)
- External doors: U ≤ 1.3 W/(m²K)
- The applicable standard is the current version of the Minimum Technical Requirements (TMA) of the BEG-EM (Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings – Individual Measures)
Funding Levels
- Basic funding rate: 15%
- With a funded iSFP (renovation roadmap): cost ceiling raised from €30,000 → €60,000 (1st residential unit); an additional 5 percentage points apply, but only on the portion above €30,000
- Maximum grant for 1st residential unit: €4,500 without iSFP, €10,500 with iSFP
Important: The WPB Bonus (+5 percentage points for Worst Performing Buildings), applicable from Q1/2027, applies exclusively to insulation measures — windows, external doors, and summer heat protection are excluded.
Eligible Costs
Material and installation costs including VAT, plus any additionally required ancillary works (e.g. reveal insulation, roller shutter boxes, re-plastering work).
Application Process
The application must be submitted to BAFA before the project begins. At the time of application, a contract with the specialist firm must already be in place, subject to a condition precedent or subsequent tied to the funding approval, and stating the expected implementation date. Commencing the project before submitting the application disqualifies it from funding.
Alternative
For owner-occupied residential property, § 35c EStG (German Income Tax Act) should be considered: 20% of costs spread over three years, up to a maximum of €40,000 per property — this cannot be combined with the grant for the same measure.
